Who We Are

The Osborne Village BIZ (Business Improvement Zone) is a group of businesses and core staff, joined together to represent and promote their business district, sponsor events, and enhance the neighbourhoods overall look and feel . The BIZ involves itself in a variety of issues and opportunities specific to their area, ranging from safety to celebration. The Osborne Village BIZ represents all retail, commercial and professional business and is funded by a special levy on business taxes, which provides the means to hire staff, provide programming and promote the area. Individual committees are formed to tackle specific operations and the BIZ welcomes opportunities for collaboration with the City of Winnipeg, other BIZ zones, neighbourhood organizations and interested individuals whenever possible.
